: nonviolent communication

would you like to lead your life in coherence with your values? understand violence? live truly nonviolently? then join us in sharing nonviolent communication.

nonviolent communication (nvc) is a concept which was developed by marshall rosenberg in the united states in the 1960s. nvc offers a new way to lead our lives, seeing violence simply as a tragic way of wanting to meet human needs. not justifying violence, nvc attempts to find ways in which we can lead our lives meeting both our own and others' needs.

basic assumptions in nvc are that no human beings are inherently bad, that there is no wrong or right, and that we can all live in ways that enrich our own and others' lives when we unlearn patterns of behaviour which focus on rewards and punishment, good and bad, wrong and right.

gert danielsen is training to become a certified trainer in nvc, and offers workshops and trainings for small and large groups, organisations and  companies. some of the activities offered are:

1. an introduction to nvc (3 hours)

2. unlearning our own violence (3 hours)

3. nvc and conflict management (5 hours)

4. living fully and non-violently (12 x 3 hours)
